Pre-Conference

Preparations

Student leaders, including Head students, prefects, ambassadors and councilors are invited.

- A theme will be provided as a broad guideline for the students to identify various problems in their educational system and their respective institutions. Students are free to bring up any topics that they feel is problematic and detrimental to their education, as long as they deem important and associated with the themes given.

All schools are required to submit their stance regarding the problems they identified in the form of a position paper. (Position Paper template and samples provided as a reference)

- Stance: Opinions of what they think to be the most efficient solution to the problems.

If possible, it is highly recommended for students to do a thorough background research to support for their stance with evidence and statistics. Unreliable and unorganized data will have low chances in winning the debates in the actual conference.
