      • Eg) Problems School B identified: Elitism & Lack of communication between teachers and students

  • Committee sessions are broken down into formal debate sessions and unmoderated caucuses.

    • Formal Debate Sessions: Time when schools deliver persuasive speeches to one another, formally arguing about the following matters

      • 1. The best set of problems to tackle. (Up to each committee to define “Best”)

      • 2. The best set of solutions to the problems chosen.

    • Unmoderated Caucus: Time when students are free to roam around the room, informally interacting, dealing, and persuading one another to vote for their set of problems and solutions. (Light refreshments will be provided)

  • Lastly, there will be a Final Debate session where the committee as a whole votes and decides on 4 best set of problems and solutions.

  • Last 15 minutes will be dedicated towards organizing the voted ones in a form of a Resolution Paper.

    • (similar to position paper, sample resolution papers and templates will be provided in the website before the conference as a reference).

    • (In case the students do not familiarize with the format, the Secretariat will be trained well to guide them along).
